Travis Scott is performing with Maroon 5 at the Super Bowl Halftime Show

TMZ has reported that Travis Scott will join Maroon 5 at the Super Bowl Halftime performance.

Reportedly, Maroon 5 have been having a hard time to find musical guests to join them for their Halftime show.

The group have reached out to several acts to join them on the Big Game, including but not limited to; Bruno Mars, Pink, André 3000 and Nicki Minaj.

Pink and Rihanna declined on the chance to perform as well, opting instead to stand in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick, the former NFL quarterback who protested police brutality and was seemingly blacklisted from the league.

TMZ reported that Travis Scott finally signed up to perform that he will guest alongside the band.

This month alone saw the rapper boasted a No. 1  song  (‘Sicko Mode’) and No. 1 album (Astroworld) simultaneously.

In addition to the musical guest announcement, TMZ also reported that the NFL is taking part in ongoing negotiations with Cardi B and OutKast’s Big Boi about making a cameo at the show.

A guest performance from the OutKast rapper would be highly sought after, as 2019’s Super Bowl takes place in Atlanta – Big Boi’s hometown.

The 53rd Super Bowl will take place on 3rd February 2019 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
