Great British Bake Off: The Final, 8pm, C4
After a great couple of months and a stressful semi-final, the three remaining bakers will be relieved to know that there are only three more challenges left to complete this series. But of course they won’t be straightforward! Firstly, Paul and Prue are demanding perfectly decorated doughnuts (yum!), and then we’re told to expect a technical unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. In fact, it’s such a curveball that the baking won’t actually be taking place inside the tent! We’re officially intrigued… Of course the moment we’re all waiting for is the reveal of the 2018 winner – who will walk away with the cake stand of champions? Rating: *****
Informer, 9pm, BBC1
Raza is finding it both difficult and dangerous being a police informant. Fitted with a hidden camera and a wire, he’s told by counter terrorism officer Gabe to get the faces and names of people attending the funeral of murdered police informant Yousef in the hope that they will provide leads to a terrorist cell. But Raza’s questions don’t go down well with Yousef’s brother Dadir… Gabe also feels threatened when he bumps into someone from his undercover days infiltrating a far-right group. Rating: *****
There She Goes, 10pm, BBC4
This series really does strike the right balance between comedy and heartbreaking drama. In tonight’s episode, there are predictably chaotic scenes as Emily and Simon take the children swimming. “This was supposed to be a treat for her,” apologises dad Simon to a lifeguard, as Rosie causes mayhem, but what does Rosie want to do instead? Emily (the wonderful Jessica Hynes) embarks on a hilarious, touching odyssey to find out… Rating: ****
